Fraisthorpe Beach was somewhere that Emily & Jonnie always walked their dog so it was a great choice for their shoot location.
I always say to couples, if you have somewhere meaningful to you, it's always nice to be able to include it, so not only do you have some beautiful images to show, you also have memories interwoven into the shoot.
Ideally, I am always looking for the best light for shoots. This is either the first hour in the morning, or the last few hours of the day - Golden Hour as it is known by. This light is the most flattering and gives me lots to play around with. Living on the east coast means we don't get unrivalled views of the sun setting, but we can still get some stunning light. We timed it beautifully for Emily and Jonnie and they even brought their dog out at the end!
